Can I participate if I don't live in the Bowness, Montgomery, Greenwood Village area?

Yes! You would be welcome.

Do I need Board experience or expertise in order to be considered for Board membership?

While experience is always beneficial. it is not a requirement. If you are enthusiastic, interested and willing to help seniors enhance their quality of life, then we would welcome the opportunity to meet you and determine whether there would be a mutually suitable “fit”.

How can I access support services for seniors in Calgary?

The Way In is a collaboration of Calgary-based agencies dedicated to enhancing quality of life and providing access to services and support for vulnerable older adults and their families.

Does BSAA still provide assistance with income tax preparation?

Yes, in cooperation with carya.

Can I get a tax receipt for a donation to BSAA?

Yes. BSAA is a registered non-profit and thus able to issue receipts for income tax purposes.
